This original J & E Stevens "Creedmoore Penny Bank" from the late 1870's is in excellent condition (the penny bank was patented in 1875). There is excellent coverage of original paint with only a few areas of wear, to be expected with its age. The mechanism works well and is actioned by pressing down the foot of the shooter which engages a spring which flings the coin down the barrel of the gun into the money box.
