A globally renowned photographer sought for his exceptional skill in capturing the raw and unbridled power of the outdoors. He is drawn to the wild, the wet, and the lonely, with a significant portion of his work showcasing the incredible beauty and power that is our worlds oceans. He is one of the most critically acclaimed photographers internationally, having won the prestigious BBC / Natural history museum wildlife photographer of the year five times- The world’s largest and most prestigious nature photography competition. The challenge and allure of shooting in the inhospitable climate that is the Antarctic, is what keeps bringing him back. during his many trips he has spent over a full year on the ice . In his own words “ the answer was obvious: to take my cameras into places where cameras shouldn’t go – as far as their safety is concerned. So for many years, I took my cameras onto wild remote island or to rugged dive sites, poked them into crevasses in Antarctica, into storms or into minus 50 degree air or along wave battered coastlines.
