Size: 5cm Weight: 42.02 Grams A large sterling silver vesta case presented to M Clark who was a Bandsman on the HMS Challenger, 1908-1910. It is in excellent condition and has clear Chester hallmarks. The HMS Challenger is one of a number of naval ships named Challenger in His Majesty's fleet. The most notable example was the HMS Challenger (1858) a noted research vessel.
