Lot Details
Provenance: Purchased from new and stored in a purpose build temperature and humidity controlled cellar ever since. Product of France - Epernay This stunning, award-winning champagne by Bertrand Senecourt will impress. Floral and yeast notes on the nose give way to crisp Fruit flavours of citrus and apple. Pinot Noir provides the firm body and structure. Great balance between the fruit and acid keeps this zero dosage Champagne from being overly dry. Varietal: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay Food match: Lobster, shrimp, shellfish, smoked salmon, caviar, oysters, fried chicken, Brie-style cheeses, fruit-based desserts (tarts and crepes) The bottle cover is inspired by the copper rooftops of Paris and the armour that the knights used to wear to defend France's kingdom. The quirky, handmade design acts as a grip for pouring as well as the rubber thumb grip at the punt of the bottle. The metal suit is hand made from recycled material and it can store the Champagne at the right temperature for up to 2 hours with no need of ice bucket depending on the room temperature.
