Third Growth. Troisieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. Producer tasting notes: (1981 vintage) "1981 is Château Palmer’s sensual vintage. Well-balanced and perfectly colored, the wines are medium-bodied: a good vintage, often described as «classic».
