Rare game pie dish by Wedgwood, circa 1850-1870. Oval form with recumbent rabbit surrounded by various other game to lid. Game and vine motifs decorate the sides with stamped makers marks to base. Missing its glazed insert and repaired in antiquity using staples, this charming piece is a rare survivor from the great "flour shortage".
