in original box and in excellent condition working perfectly. Comes with a post war made attachment allowing this to be screwed onto a modern tripod and used. An excellent piece of American naval history, and a stunning piece of ocular equipment. The large size and comparatively low power was intentional, it allowed large amounts of light into the spyglass for low light use.
