Blade stamped for the AMES manufacturing company, apparently undated. Small nibbles to blade commensurate with age. Matching scabbard with intact suspension loops, small area of old damage approximately 2 thirds of the way down. Brass handguard in fine, unpolished condition with original wooden handgrip. Brass rope decoration missing from grip section. Overall, a nice example of the M1860.
