The Commercial Bank of New Zealand Limited one pound, hand signed and dated Dunedin, 2nd January, 1865. Well worn and limp but a complete note without any holes or major tears. Good condition. Excessively rare. 242: THE UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA FIVE POUNDS PRINTER’S PROOF CHRISTCHURCH 1890 The Union Bank of Australia printer’s proof for five pounds, Christchurch, 1st February, 1890. “Date added Oct 30th / 90” in pencil in signature field. Faint tipping marks on the back and trimmed by approximately 10mm on the bottom margin, otherwise almost uncirculated.
