This original J & E Stevens "Two Frogs" from the early 1880's is in excellent condition (the bank was patented in 1882). There is excellent coverage of original paint with only a few areas of wear, to be expected with its age. The mechanism works well however it is missing the smaller frogs moving leg, which means that only the larger frogs mouth opens mechanically. It is otherwise in good condition and all internal parts are present. Note: This item is from a collection from a single collector of important money boxes, please see the following lots for more!
