Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2019 Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Alcohol By Volume: 14.5% Fifth Growth. Cinquieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark, not quite opaque purple-ruby color. The nose has open raspberry fruit with creamy notes & vanilla. The wine has excellent acidity. Tannins are fine & supple with lovely spices overlaying mulberry fruit. The wine is medium-bodied & the alcohol adds a touch of warmth & roundness to the back palate where it elevates cedary, exotic spice notes that overlay velvety textured cassis fruit.
