An exceptional German reservists stein from the 5th Bavarian infantry. Military scenes painted on the stein are very colourful and detailed. The bottom is translucent and has a Bavarian military officer in textured relief. The pewter top has a hand painted military scene underneath the very rare prism top. The pewter is detailed with a heraldic lion on the top of the hinge. In excellent overall condition with very little paint loss and damage, the lid doesn't quite fit straight on the top however this just needs a slight adjustment.
